Behaviour and social interactions
Pupils come to school with different understandings of what it means to behave and interact positively with others. At Charlton Wood, everyone is responsible and accountable all of the time for teaching and maintaining a culture of positive behaviour and social interactions. We believe it is the job of every adult in school to deliberately teach and model social norms so that there is a common understanding of 'the way we do it in our school' which is understood by everyone.
Our Behaviour and Social Interactions Handbook below details our approach to supporting children to meet the expectations in our school including our graduated approach to supporting those who may, at time, struggle.
